RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
1. Adopt Resolution accepting and expressing gratitude for the monetary donation of $18,380 from the Orange Cove Police Protection District to purchase two Vigilant License Plate Reader Policing Systems for the Sheriff's Office during FY 2023-24; and
2. Adopt Budget Resolution increasing FY 2023-24 appropriations and estimated revenues for Sheriff-Coroner-Public Administrator Org 3111 in the amount of $18,380 [NF1][MV2](4/5 vote).
REPORT
There is no Net County Cost associated with the recommended actions. Approval of the recommended actions will allow the Sheriff's Office to accept and utilize a donation from the Orange Cove Police Protection District ($18,380) for the purchase of two Vigilant License Plate Reader (VLPR) systems. This item is countywide.
