RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve community outreach expenditure of $2,500 for the Fresno County Sheriff’s Jeep Rescue Unit, per Administrative Policy No. 75.
REPORT
There is no additional Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. Approval of this item is for the expenditure of $2,500 to support the Fresno County Sheriff’s Jeep Rescue Unit’s mission to enhance community safety through search and rescue operations. This item was approved by County Counsel as an appropriate expenditure as outlined in Administrative Policy No. 75.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):
Your Board can choose not to authorize support of the Fresno County Sheriff’s Jeep Rescue Unit.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. Sufficient appropriations are included in the Board of Supervisors Org, 0110 FY 2025-26 Adopted Budget.
DISCUSSION:
On August 8, 2017, the Board approved Administrative Policy No. 75 to allow individual Supervisors to expend portions of their individual budgets for community outreach services and programs.
Approval of the recommended action will authorize District 2 to expend $2,500 to support the Fresno County Sheriff’s Jeep Rescue Unit.
