SUBJECT: Agreement with RDA Consulting, SPC
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute an Agreement with RDA Consulting, SPC, to provide evaluations of the County of Fresno Community Corrections Partnership funded programs effective January 16, 2024 through January 15, 2027, with an annual maximum compensation of $100,000, not to exceed the contract maximum compensation of $300,000.
REPORT
There is no Net County Cost associated with the recommended action, which will approve and authorize the Chairman to execute an Agreement with RDA Consulting, SPC to provide evaluations of the County of Fresno Community Corrections Partnership (CCP) funded programs, from January 16, 2024, to January 15, 2027. This item is Countywide.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):
If the Board does not approve the recommended action, the Probation Department will have to withdraw the agreement for the CCP program evaluation and will not be able to perform the recommendations provided by the State Auditor's report on Public Safety Realignment.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. The recommended agreement is fully funded with the Public Safety Realignment Act of 2011 AB 109 funds. The maximum annual compensation for the recommended agreement is $100,000, with a maximum compensation of $300,000. Sufficient appropriations and estimated revenues are included in Probation's FY 2023-24 Recommended Org 3430 Adopted Budget. Funding for this agreement will be included in subsequent requested budgets.
DISCUSSION:
The State Auditor's report on Public Safety Realignment, released in March 2021, recommended that the County conduct evaluations of programs funded by the CCP to determine effectiveness and to assist in decision making at least every three years.
