SUBJECT: Amendment to Agreement with A-1 Auto Electric

RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute First Amendment to Purchasing Agreement No. P-23-007 with Almared Inc. dba A-1 Alternative Fuel Systems/A-1 Auto Electric for the maintenance and repair of Sheriff's vehicles converting to a Board agreement, with no change to the term of the Purchasing Agreement, increasing the maximum compensation by $300,000, to $500,000.

This item is countywide.

ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):

If your Board does not approve the recommended action, the Sheriff's Office would be limited in its ability to obtain timely maintenance of Sheriff's vehicles.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. Approval of the recommended action will increase total compensation by $300,000 to $500,000 for the recommended Agreement. Sufficient appropriations and estimated revenues are included in the Sheriff-Coroner-Public Administrator's FY 2025-26 Org 3111 Adopted Budget and will be included in subsequent budget requests for the remaining term of the agr...
