SUBJECT: Amendment I to Agreement with the City of Reedley (CDBG CV19571)
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize Chairman to execute Amendment I to Agreement No. 22-314 with the City of Reedley for the Reedley Senior Meals Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act Community Development Block Grant Project No. CV19571, effective upon execution to complete the Project by the previously extended completion date of October 31, 2023, and increasing the maximum Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act Community Development Block Grant funding by $10,168 to a total Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act Community Development Block Grant funding amount not to exceed $102,341.
REPORT
Approval of the recommended action will provide additional Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV) funding for the Reedley Senior Meals (Project). The additional funds are needed to provide additional food through the Project for low and moderate-income citizens impacted by COVID-19 in the City of Reedley (City). These additional funds are available from the County's CDBG-CV allocation included in the County's 2019-2020 Action Plan. The total Project cost is estimated at $102,341. This item pertains to a location in District 4.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):
Your Board may reject the recommended action and direct the Department of Public Works and Planning staff to use the funds for a different CDBG-CV activity. However, rejection may impact the County's ability to meet its CDBG-CV expenditure timelines set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
FISCAL IMPACT:
