SUBJECT: Master Agreement with various school districts for office space coordination to deliver mental health services to undeserved and un-served children, youth, and their families.

RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Master Agreement with various School Districts for the coordination of office space to perform mental health services at various School Districts, effective July 1, 2023, not to exceed five consecutive years, which includes a three-year base contract and two optional one-year extensions ($0).
REPORT
There is no additional Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. Approval of the recommended action continues the partnership between the County and various Fresno County school districts to increase access to comprehensive mental health treatment services to underserved and un-served children and youth and their families at school sites in Fresno, Clovis and the rural communities of the County. This item is countywide.

ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):

There are no alternative actions. Should the recommended actions not be approved, there will be an interruption in mental health services for children, youth, and their families within Fresno County School Districts.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. The recommended agreement allows for continued services for School Districts with service obligations to be performed without payment of any monetary compensation by either County or School Districts.

DISCUSSION:

The recommended agreement allows for the Department of Behavioral Health and contracted providers to continue to provide mental health treatment services at Firebaugh Las Deltas Unified School District, Fowler Unified School District, Kings Canyon Unified School District, Kerman Unified School District, Parlier Unified...
