SUBJECT: Community Development Block Grant Public Services Amendments
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
1. Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute Amendment No. 3 to Agreement No. 21-312 with Boys and Girls Clubs of Fresno County for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded social services programs, extending the term by three (3) months from September 1, 2026, to November 30, 2026, and increasing the total CDBG funding amount not to exceed $225,460;
2. Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute Amendment No. 3 to Agreement No. 21-313 with Marjaree Mason Center, Inc. for CDBG funded social services programs, extending the term by three (3) months from September 1, 2026, to November 30, 2026, and increasing the total CDBG funding amount not to exceed $222,085;
3. Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute Amendment No. 3 to Agreement No. 21-314 with Westside Youth, Inc. for CDBG funded social services programs, extending the term by three (3) months from September 1, 2026, to November 30, 2026, and increasing the total CDBG funding amount not to exceed $225,460; and
4. Amend FY 2026-27 Action Plan to identify activities to be funded within the CDBG Public Services project.
REPORT
There is no additional Net County Cost associated with the recommended actions. Approval of the first three recommended actions will extend the term of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) community-based social services program agreements by three (3) months to continue services for low to moderate income persons residing in unincorporated areas and eligible CDBG partner cities of Fresno County (Fowler, Kerman, Kingsburg, Mendota, Orange Cove, Reedley, Sanger, and Selma) while a formal procurement is completed.
