SUBJECT: Amendment No.1 to Agreement 25-304 with AAA Quality Services, Inc.
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute Amendment No. 1 to Agreement 25-304 with AAA Quality Services, Inc. for portable chemical toilets rentals and services, effective upon execution with no change to the original term of June 24, 2025 through June 23, 2028, removing annual contract limits and increasing the contract maximum by $297,436 to a total of $850,000.
REPORT
There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. Approval of the recommended Amendment No. 1 to Agreement 25-304 with AAA Quality Services, Inc. will eliminate the annual maximum compensation limit and increase the overall contract maximum by $297,436 for a revised total contract maximum of $850,000. This adjustment will ensure the continued availability of rental, cleaning, and maintenance services for portable sanitary units at multiple locations countywide in support of public infrastructure, special events, emergency response, and construction activities. This item is countywide.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):
There is no viable alternative action. If your Board does not approve the recommended action, the County will be unable to remove the annual compensation limits and increase the contract maximum, which may limit the County's ability to meet increased service demands during the remainder of the agreement term.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. The increase in contract maximum compensation will be funded by the Department of Public Works and Planning (Org 45104512, 45104514, 7910, and 9026) and the Sheriff-Coroner Office (Org 3111 and 31114000).
