RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve the amended Fresno County Behavioral Health Board Bylaws.
REPORT
There is no additional Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. With the passing of Proposition 1 (SB 326) local behavioral health boards are required to amend their bylaws in accordance with modifications to Welfare and Institutions Code 5604 and 5963.03 which regulate California Behavioral Health Boards Bylaws, Duties, Expenses, and Membership. The terms of the bylaws require that your Board approve amendments to the bylaws. This item is countywide.

ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):

If your board does not approve the amended bylaws, the FCBHB will not be in compliance with new legislation requirements for California Behavioral Health Boards.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended action.
