SUBJECT: Maintained Mileage of Fresno County Roads

RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Adopt and authorize the Chairman to execute a Resolution revising the number of miles of maintained Fresno County roads as of December 31, 2021 as approximately 3,478.526 miles and authorize the Director of the Department of Public Works or his designee to transmit a copy of the adopted Resolution to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
REPORT
Approval of the recommended action will certify the County's maintained road mileage as of December 31, 2021, as approximately 3,478.526 miles. This represents a decrease of approximately 2.728 miles from 2020. The Resolution is required annually pursuant to California Streets and Highways Code, Section 2121. This item is countywide.

Based on these conversations, and to avoid delay, the Department is taking the initiative to request your Board's adoption of the recomm...
