REPORT

Approval of this item is for the expenditure of $1,000 to support the development and maintenance of the futsal courts at Calwa Recreation and Park District. This item was approved by County Counsel as an appropriate expenditure as outlined in Administrative Policy No. 75.

There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. Sufficient appropriations are included in the Board of Supervisors Org, 0110 FY 2024-25 Adopted Budget.

DISCUSSION:

On August 8, 2017, the Board approved Administrative Policy No. 75 to allow individual Supervisors to expend portions of their individual budgets for community outreach services and programs.

Approval of the recommended action will authorize District 3 to expend $1,000 to support the development and maintenance of the futsal courts at Calwa Recreation and Park District. This expenditure was sent to County Counsel for review and approval. County Counsel deemed it an appropriate expenditure under Administrative Policy No. 75 guidelines.
