SUBJECT: Budget Resolution (Org. 8872)
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Adopt a Budget Resolution increasing the FY 2026-27 appropriations and estimated revenues for Department of Behavioral Health Org 56305555, in the total amount of $1,267,060; and
Adopt a Budget Resolution increasing the FY 2026-27 appropriations and estimated revenues for Public Works and Planning Org 8872, in the total amount of $1,267,060.
REPORT
There is no additional Net County Cost associated with the recommended actions, which will allow the Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) to transfer funding to the Department of Public Works and Planning (PWP) for the completion of low-voltage cable installation services, alarm system, security cameras and systems for the new DBH building located at 555 East Olive Avenue, Fresno, California, 93727 (Olive Building). These services will be provided by the existing low voltage provider, Teledata Services Co. (Teledata). This item pertains to a location in District 3.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):
Should your Board not approve the recommended actions, DBH will not be able to transfer funds to PWP for the completion of the construction project. Your Board may direct the Information Technology Services Department (ITSD) to rebid the low voltage project rather than use the existing low voltage Agreement No. 26-345 with Teledata. ITSD solicited quotes through an informal Request for Quotations from three local vendors and the selected bidder, Contra Costa, elected to not proceed during the contract negotiation process.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended actions.
