SUBJECT: Amendment to Resolution 25-177 to Modify Fresno County Senate Bill 1 Project List
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign a Resolution amending Exhibit A of Resolution 25-177 to include additional road projects to be performed with Department of Public Works and Planning's Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account funds for FY 2025-26.
REPORT
Approval of the recommended action will allow two additional projects, Cedar Avenue Reconstruction (Jensen to Annadale and Annadale to Fresno City limits) and Alder Springs Overlays to be to be included in the established list of road and bridge projects to be performed with the Department of Public Works and Planning's (Department) Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) funding for FY 2025-26.
The existing Senate Bill (SB) -1 list contains projects located in all Districts, while the additional projects are located in Districts 3 and 5.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):
If the recommended action is not approved, FY 2025-26 RMRA funding would not be used to fund the additional projects.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. Revenues received from the RMRA in the amount of $29,276,170 for FY 2025-26 will be deposited in Road Fund 0010, and will be utilized for design, right-of-way purchase, construction, and construction inspection of the road and bridge projects identified on Exhibit A, including the Alder Springs and Cedar Avenue projects.

On June 10, 2025, your Board approved and authorized the Chairman to sign Resolution 25-177 establishing a list of road and bridge projects to be performed with the Department's RMRA funds in the amount of $29,276,170 for FY 2025-26.
