SUBJECT: Amendments to Agreements with Community-Based Organizations for Community Development Block Grants Funded Social Services Programs
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
1. Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute Amendment No. 2 to Agreement with Boys and Girls Clubs of Fresno County for Community Development Block Grant funded social services activities, extending the term by 12 months from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026, and increasing the maximum compensation by $42,842 to a total of $214,210;
2. Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute Amendment No. 2 to Agreement with Marjaree Mason Center, Inc. for Community Development Block Grant funded social services activities, extending the term by 12 months from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026, and increasing the maximum compensation by $42,842 to a total of $214,210; and
3. Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute Amendment No. 2 to Agreement with Westside Youth, Inc. for Community Development Block Grant funded social services activities, extending the term by 12 months from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026, and increasing the maximum compensation by $42,842 to a total of $214,210.
REPORT
There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended actions. Approval of the recommended actions will allow the Department of Social Services to extend the term of the agreements by 12 months to continue Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) funded social service programs for low to moderate-income persons residing in unincorporated areas and eligible CDBG partner cities of Fresno County (Fowler, Kerman, Kingsburg, Mendota, Orange Cove, Reedley, Sanger, and Selma). This item is countywide.
