SUBJECT: Revised 2025 Chairman's Appointments & Form 806 (FCOG, FCRTA, FCRTMFA)
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve the Revised Chairman's 2025 Appointments of Board Members to various Boards, Commissions, and Committees, appointing Supervisor Bredefeld to the positions held by Supervisor Pacheco on the Fresno Council of Governments, Fresno County Rural Transit Agency, and Fresno County Regional Transportation Mitigation Fee Agency, as presented in Exhibit A; and Adopt the Revised California Form 806 (Agency Report of Public Official Appointments) as presented in Exhibit B, and direct the Clerk of the Board to post on the County's website.
REPORT
There is no additional Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. Approval of the recommended action will appoint Supervisor Bredefeld to the position held by Supervisor Pacheco on the Fresno Council of Governments (FCOG), Fresno County Rural Transit Agency (FCRTA), and Fresno County Regional Transportation Mitigation Fee Agency (FCRTMFA). Approval of this action would also adopt the California Form 806 (Form 806), reflecting the updated appointment, as presented in Exhibit B. This item is countywide.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):
Your Board could choose not to approve the Revised Chairman's 2025 Appointments of Board Members to various Boards, Commissions, and Committees. Supervisor Pacheco would continue serving on FCOG, FCRTA, and FCRTMFA as originally appointed in January, and the Form 806 would remain unchanged; however, as scheduling conflicts have arisen with another committee Supervisor Pacheco is assigned to, your Board may not have representation present at FCOG Policy Board meetings if the Alternate Member is also unable to attend.
