SUBJECT: Addendum to the Memorandum of Understanding for Representation Unit 11
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
1. Approve the Addendum to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Representation Unit 11, Deputy Probation Officers, represented by Fresno County Deputy Probation Officers Association, effective February 2, 2026.
REPORT
Approval of the recommended action would effectuate the tentatively agreed upon terms and conditions as delineated herein regarding the Addendum to the MOU for the above-named representation unit, effective February 2, 2026. There is no Net County Cost (NCC) associated with this item.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):
If your Board were not to approve the recommended action, the existing terms and conditions would remain in effect and the Addendum which created this tentative agreement would be nullified.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no change to NCC associated with this item.
DISCUSSION:
Your Board approved a successor MOU for Representation Unit 11 - Deputy Probation Officers on July 8, 2025. Your Board’s representatives have reached a tentative agreement with those of Unit 11, as reflected in the Addendum to maintain uniformity of intent and allow operational flexibility.
