Grant Award Standard Agreement
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Authorize the County Administrative Officer to execute the Grant Award Standard Agreement, as required by the California Department of Housing and Community Development for County's receipt of the No Place Like Home Program 2017 Technical Assistance Grant funds.
REPORT
Approval of the recommended action will authorize the County Administrative Officer to execute the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) Standard Agreement. Once authorized and returned to HCD, the Standard Agreement will allow for Fresno County to receive No Place Like Home - Technical Assistance (NPLH TA) funds in the amount of $150,000 in support of the No Place Like Home program preparation activities.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):
Should your Board not approve the recommended action, the NPLH TA Standard Agreement would not be submitted to HCD rendering the Standard Agreement incomplete and possibly jeopardizing the County's future application for the competitive NPLH Program.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. HCD has awarded $150,000 in NPLH TA funding to the County for planning and preparation activities related to the NPLH Program. The recommended action allows for the execution of the HCD NPLH TA Standard Agreement to receive the $150,000; made available from the Mental Health Services Act Fund pursuant to an appropriation provided by subsection (a) of Section (?) 5849.10 of the California Welfare and Institutions Code (W&IC). Sufficient appropriations and estimated revenues are included in the Department's Org 5630 FY 2018-19 Adopted Budget.
