SUBMITTED BY: David Pomaville, Director, Department of Public Health

SUBJECT: Salary Resolution Amendment

RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve Amendment to the Salary Resolution adding one Public Health Nurse I/II position and deleting one unfilled Mental Health Nurse I/II position in the Public Health Org 5620, effective December 17, 2018, as reflected in Appendix D.
REPORT
Approval of the recommended action will allow the Department of Public Health to convert a vacant Mental Health Nurse I/II (MHN) position to a Public Health Nurse I/II (PHN) position. The position will be funded with Psychotropic Medication Monitoring and Oversight (PMM&O) grant funding, with no Net County Cost.

ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. The increased cost in FY 2018-19 for the addition of the PHN is approximately $13,262. The position is 100% grant funded with PMM&O grant funds. Sufficient appropriations and estimated revenues are included in the Department's Org 5620 Adopted Budget.

Since FY 2017-18, funding for the PMM&O project mandates that a PHN is to be assigned to the project, serving ...
