SUBJECT: Retroactive Agreement with Western State Design for laundry machine services and maintenance

RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a retroactive Agreement with Western State Design for laundry equipment services and maintenance, effective January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2023 which includes a three year base contract and two optional one-year extensions, total not to exceed $250,000.
REPORT
There is no additional Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. This item is countywide.

ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):

There is no viable alternative action. If the recommended action is not approved the Adult Detention Facilities will not be able to maintain the current laundry system.

RETROACTIVE AGREEMENT:

The recommended agreement was received from Western State Design on January 10, 2019 and is retroactive to January 1, 2019. Subsequent time for processing delayed this item from being placed on an earlier agenda date.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no additional Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. The maximum yearly amount to be paid under this agreement shall not exceed $50,000. This amount is included within the FY 2018-19 A...
