SUBJECT: Retroactive Revenue Agreement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for Law Enforcement Services

RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize Chairman to execute a retroactive revenue Agreement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the Sheriff's Office to provide law enforcement services for Pine Flat Lake campsites for the period of May 1, 2019 through April 30, 2020 ($65,173.16).
REPORT
There is no additional Net County Cost associated with this agreement. Law enforcement services have been provided by the Sheriff's Office in the Pine Flat area since 1978. Each year the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requests additional patrol services during the summer months. The contract performance period is from May 1, 2019 through September 30, 2019. The recommended agreement provides for a continuation of these services. This item pertains to locations in District 5.

ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):

RETROACTIVE AGREEMENT:

The recommended agreement is retroactive to May 1, 2019 due to a delay in receiving the agreement from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, which was received on March 25, 2019 and the subsequent time for processing for placement on your Board's agenda.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no additional Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. The proposed agreement provides for additional law enforcement services not to exceed $65,173.16 for Option Year 3 of May 1, 2019 through April 30, 2020. Sufficient appropriations and estimated revenues are included in the Sheriff-Coroner-Public Administrator Org 3111 for FY 2018-19 and will be included in the FY 2019-20 budget reque...
