There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended actions. The increased FY 2019-20 appropriations ($100,000) in the Department’s Special Studies Deposits Org 1186  and increase the FY 2019-20 appropriations and estimated revenues ($100,000) in the Department’s - Road Maintenance and Operations Division Org 4510 through an Operating Transfer In from the Department’s Special Studies Deposits Org 1186.  The funds were deposited into Org 1186 per Agreement Nos. 19-417, 418, 419, and 420.

On August 20, 2019, the County executed Agreement Nos. 19-417, 418, 419, and 420, which stipulated the County to receive a $100,000 deposit from Little Bear Solar Nos. 1, 3, 4, and 5 to ensure that any County roads that are damaged by project-related activities by Little Bear Solar Nos. 1, 3, 4, and 5 are inspected, repaired, or reconstructed as per the requirements of the State or the County.

Approval of the recommended actions will provide the appropriations and revenues to fund the increase using available fund balance in Org 1186. As expenditures for damaged roads occur, funds will be transferred out of Org 1186 and corresponding transfer will be recorded in Org 4510.
