RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute First Amendment to Agreement with RR-M Reyna Inc., for decedent removal services, effective upon execution, with no change to the term of May 16, 2019 through May 15, 2022 with the option to extend the term of the agreement for two additional one-year extensions, increasing the agreement maximum compensation amount by $770,000 to a total of $2,000,000.

Currently the Coroner's Office has used up $625,277 of that $738,000.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. The recommended first amendment will increase the maximum compensation by $770,000, to a total of $2,000,000, to cover the remaining agreement period. Actual expenditures for decedent removal services will be determined by the number of removals, location, and type of services required. The estimated yearly cost of decedent removal services was estimated to be $200,000, not to ex...
