to increase sewer standby charge assessments for such District, and upon completion of such  
majority protest hearing, approve item A or B, as applicable, as determined by the Board of  
Supervisors (“Board”): A. if Board finds that there is not a majority protest against such proposal  
to increase sewer standby charge assessments, Board may adopt a Resolution authorizing

COUNTIES (CSAC) LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE IN SACRAMENTO, EXPRESSING HOPE THAT STATE  
LEGISLATORS WILL PROVIDE RELIEF TO COUNTIES FACING BUDGETARY SHORTFALLS; ENCOURAGED  
EVERYONE TO EXERCISE THEIR RIGHT TO VOTE; AND WISHED SUPERVISOR PACHECO GOOD LUCK IN  
THE ELECTION. SUPERVISOR MENDES ALSO REPORTED ATTENDING THE CSAC LEGISLATIVE
