SUBJECT: Agreement with F-N-F Roll-Off Service, Inc.

RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute an Agreement with F-N-F Roll-Off Service, Inc. for roll off bin rental services including delivery, pick up, and disposal of surplus green waste and general refuse generated by the Department of Public Works and Planning - Parks & Grounds, effective September 24, 2024 not to exceed five consecutive years, which includes a three-year base contract and two optional one-year extensions, total not to exceed $525,000.
REPORT
Approval of recommended action will authorize the Department of Public Works and Planning - Parks & Grounds to utilize F-N-F Roll-Off Services, Inc. (FNF) for bin service in disposing of green waste and general refuse generated by grounds maintenance as needed.

ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):

There is no viable alternative action. Roll-off bins are the most economical way to remove general refuse, green waste stockpiles, and avoid potential fire hazards.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. The recommended agreement is in the amount of $525,000 during the term of its three-year base term, plus the two potential one-year extensions. The recommended agreement will be funded with budgeted Net County Cost. Sufficient appropriations and estimated revenues are included in the Department of Public Works and Planning - Parks & Grounds Org 7910 FY 2024-25 Adopted Budget and will be requested in subsequent budgets for the duration of the extended contract term.
