SUBJECT:                     2017 Board Meeting Calendar

RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):

TITLE

Adopt the Board meeting schedule for January through December 2017.

REPORT

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no fiscal impact associated with the recommended action.

DISCUSSION:

The proposed calendar for 2017 includes 22 Regular Business Board meetings.  The Oath of Office and Designation of Officers is scheduled for Monday, January 9, 2017, at 9:30 a.m.; the first Regular Board Meeting will be on Tuesday, January 10, 2017.  Budget Hearings are scheduled for the week of September 18^th.  The proposed calendar is based on Board input and provides sufficient time for the business needs of the Board.
