Adjourn in memory of Vartkes Nahabed Messerlian. Mr. Messerlian immigrated to the United States in 1959, graduated from Fresno State in 1963, and worked for the State of California Water Resources Department. For more than 50 years, he contributed to the Armenian community and was a founding member of the Armenian Community School in Fresno, Homenetmen Armenian General Athletic Union and Scouts, and Hamazkayin Cultural Association in Fresno. His humble, diplomatic and calm personality will be missed by many
