SUBJECT: Transfer $250,000 in FY 2016-17 American Avenue Disposal Site Enterprise Fund Organization 9026 from Program 91241 to Program 91242
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize the Clerk to the Board to execute Budget Transfer No. 11 transferring appropriations within the American Avenue Disposal Site Organization 9026, Account 8300, Equipment, from Program 91241, Certified P/T Overhaul Compact to Program 91242, Certified P/T Overhaul Dozer in the amount of $250,000.
The recommended action will move $250,000 of appropriations from Program 91241 "Certified P/T Overhaul Compact" to Program 91242 "Certified P/T Overhaul Dozer". During the FY 2016-17 budget preparations, staff inadvertently swapped the estimated cost for a landfill dozer rebuild and landfill compactor rebuild.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):
No viable alternative exists. The transfer is necessary in order to complete the certified rebuild of a Dozer at the American Avenue Disposal Site (AADS) that is essential to landfill operations.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. All the necessary funds are allocated in the FY 2016-17 American Avenue Disposal Site Org 9026 Adopted Budget. Approval of the recommended action will allow for the transfer of appropriations ($250,000) within the American Avenue Disposal Site Organization 9026, Account 8300, Equipment, from Program 91241, "Certified P/T Overhaul Compact" to Program 91242, "Certified P/T Overhaul Dozer" in order to complete the certified rebuild of the landfill Compactor and Dozer.
DISCUSSION:
