SUBJECT: 2020 Board Meeting Calendar
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
1. Approve and Adopt the 2020 regular meeting schedule for the Board of Supervisors as outlined in Attachment “A”; and
2. Direct the Clerk of the Board to publish the 2020 regular meeting schedule of the Board of Supervisors on the Fresno County website and to advise all County departments of the meeting schedule and submission dates for agenda items.

ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):
If your Board wishes to make changes to the 2020 regular meeting schedule for the Board of Supervisors as outlined in Attachment “A”, your Board may articulate specific requests.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with the recommended action.
DISCUSSION:
The Fresno County Board of Supervisors holds regular meetings at the Fresno County Hall of Records, 2281 Tulare Street, Third Floor, Fresno, California. Meetings of the Board are regulated and scheduled in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act. The Chairman is authorized to schedule special meetings and cancel regularly scheduled meetings in accordance with applicable laws.
Attached is the proposed 2020 board meeting calendar. The proposed calendar includes 22 regular board meetings. The proposed calendar is based on Board input and provides sufficient time for the business needs of the board. Approval and adoption of the 2020 schedule for regular meetings of the Board of Supervisors will establish the official 2020 Board of Supervisors calendar.
