SUBJECT: Revised Subaward Face Sheet for California Governor's Office of Emergency Services Revenue Agreement (A-19-042)
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize the Chairman to initial and accept the revised Agreement No. 19-042 Subaward Face Sheet with the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services for the Homeland Security Grant Program Revenue Agreement ($1,074,211).
REPORT
Approval of the recommended action would authorize the Chairman to initial and accept the revised California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) Grant Agreement Subaward Face Sheet (Face Sheet) for the Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP). The initialed corrections were made by a Cal OES representative, requiring initialing and acceptance of the revised Face Sheet. This item is countywide.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):
There is no viable alternative action. Should your Board not approve the recommended action, the Department of Public Health would not be able to pass-through funding to local agencies for terrorism preparedness and response.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. The revenue amount ($1,074,211) associated with the Cal OES HSGP Revenue Agreement was approved by your Board on January 29, 2019. Sufficient appropriations and estimated revenues are included in the Department's Org 5620 FY 2019-20 Adopted Budget.
DISCUSSION:
On January 29, 2019, your Board approved and authorized a Retroactive Application for Assistance Revenue Agreement with Cal OES HSGP.
Upon the Department's receipt of the fully executed agreement on August 12, 2019 from Cal OES, staff noted the total grant amount indicated on the Grant Subaward Face Sheet had been altered and initialed by a Cal OES representative.
