SUBJECT: First Amendment to Agreement with Nobico, Inc., dba Integrated Electronics

RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a First Amendment to Agreement No. 16-556 with Nobico, Inc., dba Integrated Electronics, for products and services related to the County's closed-circuit television systems, effective upon execution with no change in term to June 18, 2020 and increasing the maximum by $250,000 to a total of $950,000.
REPORT
Approval of the recommended action will increase the maximum compensation of the agreement for the maintenance, repair, replacement, and installation of the County's closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. This is necessary to fulfill current requests by user departments, and to expand the County's CCTV system as departments expand their operations and relocate services. This item is countywide.

ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):

Should your Board not approve the recommended action, service requests related to CCTV would require a project-by-project procurement process, resulting in more staff time and resources.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. The recommended action increases the potential maximum agreement payment limit by $250,000 to a total of $950,000. Costs for these services are recovered through charges billed back to user departments. Sufficient appropriations and estimated revenues are included in the Internal Services Department FY 2019-20 Security Services Org 8970 Adopted Budget.
