RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute Amendment No. 1 to Agreement with Poverello House for Recidivism Reduction Services extending the term by one year from June 30, 2022 to June 30, 2023 with an option to extend by an additional twelve (12) months and increasing the maximum by $100,000 to a total of $250,000.
REPORT

Your Board has the authority to spend these funds as it would any of the funds in these accounts for local needs. This item is countywide.

ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):

If the recommended action is not approved, Agreement No. 19-233 with Poverello House will expire on June 30, 2022, and the County will not have an active contract for Recidivism Reduction Services.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. Pursuant to Government Code Section 30029.07(b), beginning in FY 2015-16, each county treasurer shall create a Local Innovation Subaccount and transfer 10% of the money received during the fiscal year from each of the following state Growth Special Accounts: 1) Trial Court Security, 2) Community Correction...
