SUBJECT: Amendment I to Master Agreement No. 23-285 for Cultural Specific Services
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute Amendment I to Master Agreement to continue specialty mental health services, effective upon execution with no change to the term of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2025 and increasing the maximum by $2,561,114 to a total of $7,334,000.
REPORT
Approval of the recommended action will increase the specialty mental health services maximum compensation of the current Agreement to allow the Contractor (The Fresno Center) to continue to claim funding for services rendered and received through the fiscal year. This is a Fee For Service (FFS) program, therefore there will be no increase to Net County Cost. This item is countywide.

FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. The maximum cost of the recommended Agreement ($7,334,000) will be fully funded by Mental Health Services Act Community Services and Support (MHSA CSS), Medi-Cal Federal Financial Participation (FFP), and Realignment funds. The specialty mental health services maximum compensation will increase from $2,194,443 to $3,500,000 per fiscal year, which increases the total maximum compensation from $4,772,886 to $7,334,000 during the entire term of this Agreement.
