SUBJECT: Donation to County of Fresno In-Home Supportive Services Recipients

RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Adopt Resolution to retroactively accept donations valued at $2,300 from staff at McCormick Barstow, LLP on behalf of In-Home Supportive Services recipients.
REPORT
Approval of the recommended action will allow the County to retroactively accept donated items, including canned goods, clothes, blankets and toiletries from McCormick Barstow, LLP in compliance with the County Administrative Office Management Directive 762 for accepting donations greater than $500.00 in value.

ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):

There is no viable alternative action.

DSS staff then distributes the items to IHSS Recipients on behalf of McCormick Barstow, LLP during the Christmas holiday. Once the value of the items was known, efforts were made to bring this item to your Board as soon as possible.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no increase in net County cost associated with the recommended action.
