RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize Chairman to execute Program Supplement Agreement No. N233 Rev. 1 to Administering Agency-State Master Agreement for Federal Aid No. 06-5942R with California Department of Transportation for Federal Project No. BRLO-5942(227) Travers Creek Bridge on Parlier Avenue ($360,000).
REPORT
The recommended action would authorize the Chairman to execute a Program Supplement Agreement (PSA) with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) to allow reimbursement of project costs with Federal funds.

ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):

No viable alternative action has been identified. Not approving the recommended action will result in de-obligation of the allocated funding.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. The estimated total cost for the preliminary engineering and right-of-way phases of the project is $360,000. Approval of the recommended action will allow for 100% cost reimbursement up to $360,000 from the Federal Highway Bridge Program (HBP) along with toll credits. Sufficient appropriations are included in the FY 2016-17 Public Works and Planning - Roads Org 4510. Upon completion of the right-of-way phase, additional funds will be obligated for construction.

DISCUSSION:

Fresno County and Caltrans entered into Administering Agency - State Master Agreement No. 06-5942R for Federal Aid projects, approved by the Board of Supervisors on March 13, 2007.
