SUBJECT: Amendment III with Voiance Language Services, LLC for Telephonic Interpretation Services
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Sitting as the In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority Governing Board:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute Amendment III to Agreement No. 17-189 with Voiance Language Services, LLC for telephonic interpretation services adding the provision of services to the County Clerk/Registrar of Voters, effective upon execution with no change in term to June 30, 2020 and increasing the maximum by $5,000 to a total of $1,180,578.

REPORT
Approval of the recommended actions will allow the County Clerk/Registrar of Voters to provide access to public services for residents with Limited English Proficiency (LEP). The services are required pursuant to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and will be funded using State and Federal funds with no increase in Net County Cost. This item is countywide.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):
There is no viable alternative action. If the Board does not approve the recommended actions, the County Clerk/Registrar of Voters will be unable to provide legally mandated access to public services.
