SUBJECT: Retroactive Revenue Agreement with Children and Families Commission of Fresno County

RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a retroactive revenue Agreement with Children and Families Commission of Fresno County for the Home Visitation Coordination - Referral Liaison, effective upon execution through June 30, 2022, total not to exceed $150,000.

There is No Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. Approval of the recommended action will provide the Department of Public Health with two years of funding from Children and Families Commission of Fresno County (First 5) to support a Home Visitation Coordination - Referral Liaison. RETROACTIVE AGREEMENT:

The recommended agreement is retroactive to October 22, 2020 with services to begin no earlier than when the agreement is fully executed by First 5 and the County. It was received from First 5 on February 22, 2021 and the time required to prepare and review the recommended agreement did not allow presentation to your Board at an earlier date.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no increase in Net County Cost associated with the recommended action. The maximum amount of the two-year revenue agreement is $150,000 ($75,000 for each year). The First 5 funds will help offset salary, benefits, and indirect costs for a public health nurse position currently u...
