SUBJECT: Salary Resolution Amendments - FY 2021-22 Budget Adoption
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
TITLE
Approve the Salary Resolution Amendments associated with the adoption of the FY 2021-22 Budget as reflected on Appendix “A”, effective October 18, 2021.
REPORT
The recommended action incorporates amendments to the Fresno County Salary Resolution approved by your Board as a result of the FY 2021-22 Budget Hearings. The amendments reflect the changes listed in the Recommended Budget. This item is countywide.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION(S):
There is no alternative action as your Board adopted the FY 2021-22 Budget on Monday, September 13, 2021.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The fiscal impact of the Salary Resolution Amendments associated with the adoption of the FY 2021-22 Budget was addressed with the approval of the Budget.
DISCUSSION:
The recommended Salary Resolution Amendments incorporate all the actions approved by your Board as a result of the FY 2021-22 Budget Hearings. The amendments reflect the changes listed in the Recommended Budget and administrative adjustments to the Senior Management Salary Bands. These salary bands represent the salary minimums and maximums only and have no impact on actual salary placement. Actual salary placement for Senior Management classifications is determined by the Salary Resolution.
Exhibit A lists the recommended position changes to the Salary Resolution in order by effective date along with the respective department’s organizational/budget unit number.
